• . . .from May 19 to July 26. . .really a speck in time especially when one considers geology. . .but it seems an enternity ago that i began this strange, new cyber-therapy called the "xanga weblog". . .a scant 60 days ago. . .wow. . .essentially i must say this beats the weekly visit to the neuroticass mft i was seeing last month for sure. . .and damn costs a lot less too!. . .and it sure is way different than the three previous "real" written journals i have kept over the years. . .from the jedi journal i started in sequoia national park in the summer of 1983. . .to the day in the hobbit journal i kept in yosemite in the summer, fall, and winter of '85. . .to the cloth bound "i'm going to be a roman catholic priest with the sacred heart fathers and brothers on the cheyenne river indian reservation in south dakota" trip from my first cycle in the city of angels in 1986. . .to the growing event filled schedules since my "triumphant return" to this fair city from 1989 to present. . .recording life's happenings and related thoughts and feelings have always been an interesting and ultimately beneficial process for my own peace of mind perhaps. . .

  
  

  it has been a really rough but exciting month. . .from the july 4th anticipation and holiday celebration to my jaunt to great britan to 3 days in ventura county and the car smash to playing major catchup at work. . .it has been utterly exhausting. . .so yesterday i felt like i just had to crash bigtime. . .let my whole staff (of 2) go home early and i slept from 7pm to 4am and now i sit blogging away cause i am having difficulty going back to bed. . .and looking at the weekend which still has work later today, a filipino veterans foundation event tonite. . .mass tomorrow morning and a gay asian pacific support network meeting tomorrow afternoon. . .then another fun-filled week @ work and the looming "i gotta pay my one grand deductible and get my car back on thursday" blues. . .

  
  

  so ends the july of 2003. . .with much anticipation for the rest of fiscal year 2004 (july 1 to june 30). . .a fall fundraiser hoovers in the distance with the spring dinner already in mind for may '04, the grants matrix never stops evolving especially with the new compassion capital fund opportunity, speaking of which the capital improvement project still needs be tied up with the last $50k and of course the newly-added, official "communications" title has kicked-in with the revival of the balitaan newsletter imminent, esipa still needing major website updating, the firstever annual report having begun production planning, and an advertising campaign initiated. . .

  
  

  . . .and still hanging are the personal aspects of one's heart (the crush that dare not speaks its name!) and the spirit (with the re-entrance of one fr. art and a flash to the past!). . .all will be resolved in due time. . .forging ahead to the future filled with hope, faith, love, and positivity!!!. . .xoxoxo. . .
