. . .cannot fucking believe that it has been two weeks since my last posting. . .damn!. . .i have been totally overwhelmed with work, home, and life. . .typical day today. . .up at 6:30am. . .get ready and put on the damn suit and tie. . .walk to my great (ha!) fucking parking down the street 2 blocks behind the hollywood greyhound station next to white lotus with my purple parking pass since i got kicked out of the parking lot across the street by the new new york-based academy of musical and dramatic arts, fuckers. . .anyways. . .then off to 101 south to work to check the 20 emails in the inbox. . .then the sipa mgmt meeting. . .then lunch meeting with the filam arts development team. . .then back to the office for my monthly powwow with the boss, who of course gives me even more damn work. . .then catch up with more emails. ..then off with joruel to the hollywood roosevelt for the 15th annual hollywood chamber of commerce expo networking mixer. . .then back to sipa to finish the fucking subcontract i have to have ready by 10am tomorrow morning. . .close the office at 9:30pm and after a cup of noodles and watching the primetime live bout the schizo 30 year old who likes to masquerade as a 16 year old and keep living highschool over and over. . .finally back to xanga. . .longass fucking day. . .at least i am off to honolulu next friday finally. . .real food with my real family. . .yikes. . .there's always the beach. . .xoxoxo. . .hope all is well with you all peoples. . .

. . .so i called in "sick" today. . .felt a slight cold coming on with a sore throat and some congestion. . .so figured since it should practically be a national holiday of mourning and rememberance. . .stayed home and watched the godfather triology on hbo. . .yikes. . .violence and delivered deep-fried chicken gizzards w/ketchup. . .yum. . .really was meaning to take a walk and get exercise and fresh air but to no avail. . .always a nice stroll to arclight cinemas where the cinerama dome is to catch a cool matinee. . .but now i'm just stuck watching the tube and playin' with the porno. . .lol. . .strike that. . .still have not decided if i want to venture back to the grind tomorrow. . .probably will since i have cocktails set with the 400 lb. best friend and claretian priest @ the omni for happy hour. . .should be inneresting. . .the weekend should be innovative as well with an all-day "embraceable you" conference early on saturday then another boring asian professional exchange awards dinner that nite then a fundraising meeting with an organization in santa monica that wants me to join their board of directors - at least it's nice to be wanted. . .and perhaps nathaniel sunday evening?. . .we shall see. . .have a freaky friday y'all. . .

. . .i left work early today to go to my appointment with the specialist this afternoon. . .then i went to costco in burbank and bought the lord of the rings the two towers mainly because i wanted to see the 10 minute preview of return of the king since i already have a cd-r version that elliott next door did for me. . .wow really worth it. . .i am so excited bout december. . .the whole trilogy just does something really weird to my head. . .makes me think. . .i really enjoy the whole lore. . .so puts me in a better mood. . .i feel so off lately. . .don't know why. . .pressure from the car needing the timing belt thing done and soon. . .work piling up. . .just did 3 loads of laundry and really need to do 4 more. . .just overall life is just annoying. . .oh well maybe i should just get stoned and forget bout it. . .maybe i will. . .okay later folks. . .god bless. . .xoxoxo. . .

No matter what I do never seems like I can catch up and do all the grantwriting I need to finish. It is absolutely amazing how my whole day can get sucked up answering inane emails just bout setting up meetings to brainstorm concepts, design programs, discuss community needs, review budgets, resolve issues, etc.,etc. ,etc. Then come the telephone calls to follow-up on the emails. And of course there's actually attending all the meetings. Major amazing. Not to mention all the hours I spend with my intern/assistant/coordinator, I know I am suppossed to be teaching, training, and coaching but man, sometimes this can get really burdensome! But oh well, I asked for it. So please everyone pray for me that I can get to working on the 3 files on my desk representing $250k worth of requests for tutoring, afterschool Philippine martial arts, and capacity-building programs. Oh yes, and the 4 thank you letters for the $108k we already received last month. Geez, does all of this have something to do with Mars?!? At least I have Cher in Concert to look forward to this weekend as well as the looming trip to Honolulu in October. . .Have a great rest-of-the-week everyone!. . .xoxoxo. . .*muah*
