. . .oh my god. . .so much has happened in the past couple of weeks. . .first it was the get to see miss saigon again with jennifer paz this time and for free and go to the wrap party at the factory in weho. . .but the big favor was to go pick up two cakes from phoenix bakery in chinatown and bring them to my small ass hollyweird apartment and store them until after the show. . .all sounded good. . .but the full fucking sheet was too damn heavy and i DROPPED THE FUCKING FULL SHEET FUCKING CAKE FULL OF FROSTING AND STRAWBERRIES AND SPONGE GOD DAMN CAKE ALL THE FUCKING OVER MY KITCHEN SINK AND FLOOR!!!!. . .man, was that a surprise. . .never happened to me before and i was literally in shock for like 15 minutes until i called ted and apologized profusely. . .then i had to go face everyone and cry/laugh. . .well we went to ralphs afterwards and picked-up replacement cakes but the frozen ones just don't substitute. . .then i left the damn thing sitting there till the next fucking morning and it took me 3 hours to clean up which is amazing cause it took 30 seconds to happen. . .lol. . .of course i had to explain it to everyone at work. . .shit. . .definitely an incident to remember and i am half-bummed i did not take a photo. . .okay apologies to kevin cause he says i swear too much in my blogs. . .oh well kev, you have known me since i was 16 so deal with it. . .lol. . .

so gay pride was fun. . .surprisingly enough and as old and decript as i am. ..the festival was cool to flirt on saturday and marching after all these years on sunday was aiiiirite. . .chock it up to another rainbow weekend in lalaland. . .

started the fourth of july weekend early and took thursday and friday off to vaca in yosemite with the cousins. . too bad matthew, fallon, and sebastien did not make it. . .but we had a fun drive up and stopped in bakersfield to eat at ihop and meet rita the funny waitress who reminded me of flo in that old alice tv series. . .then there was the flirty cutey redneck at the starbucks. ..lost $100 the 2 times we went to the casino at coarsegold. . .stopped at raley's in oakhurst for deli dinner. . .and did that damn drive past wawona into the valley again which i never enjoy. . .but the park is still fucking beautiful and housekeeping camp was fun as always. . . a bear did try to break into our food box the first nite and we did totally get stoned on the bridge in the full moonlight. . .breakfast and visiting with ceci and brett and the kids was hella fun on the ahwahnee meadow. . .i almost killed myself hiking up to vernal the a smidgin of the mist trail. . .stayed an extra nite. . .fucking handsome young college men from all over the country still find their way to yosemite as always. . .ahhhh those were the days. . .lol. . .trip home was long and hot. . .

. . .this week has been helacious at work. . .so fucking much to catch up on. . .the new fiscal year has begun with so many changes afoot. . .and so much planning to do. . .looking forward to my trip to st. louis for the filipino american national historical society bi-annual conference. . .that should be inneresting. . .let's see if i can win again on the riverboat casinos. . .funny that one of them is called the casino queen. . just for me. . .lol. . .okay peoples. . .hope everyone else is surviving and enjoying the summer. . .xoxoxo. . .

. . .surely, the highlight of my week was seeing the thursday matinee performance of this wonderful broadway show at the pantages hollywood. . .the unusual thing about this - is that this was my FIRST time seeing it since i have been actively boycotting this show for 10+ years in deference to all my vietnamese friends who told me to do so and all the rigamaroh over cameron mackintosh years ago. . .but the fact that dear jennifer paz was in it, i broke my boycott and went. . .besides there was a promotion that discounted the ticket to $26 from the regular prices of $40+ so what the hell -  i took yesterday afternoon off and had one heck of a beautiful time. . .what fabulous music and tearful story. . .the one major bad thing of it all of course was that jennifer only performs the evening shows and i ended up seeing laura cadediva in the role of kim. . .the hunky blonde chris character made up for it and i definitely want to see it again in the evening but have to do it quick since it plays for only 2 weeks. . .okay 'nuff fag rambling bout theatrical musicals, i know. . .but yay! i finally also fixed the air conditioner in my car. . .spent an extra $50 on the budget rent-a-alegra-oldsmobile thingy. . .but me's love mine honda. . .

. . .of course this is the 2004 version whilst i drive a '96 civic ex. . but you get the picture. . .okay but the real recommendation for you all tonite at the internet cafe while i wait for the club fuckers to go home so i can get a parking space. .. is GO SEE HAROLD & KUMAR GO TO WHITECASTLE. . .i saw a special advanced screening at the los angeles film festival tonite and IT WAS HELLA FUNNY!!!. . .of course, if you are a like-a stoner DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR. . .BILL & TED EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. . .fare. . .AND OF COURSE YES, THEY ARE BOTH ASIAN AND NOT FUCKING STEREOTYPES BUT WITH RESPECTFUL CULTURAL REFERENCES. . .geez. . .i can now actually see someone just like me. . .so PLEASE GO CHECK THIS HYSTERICAL ROMP OUT. . .OPENS JULY 30TH NATIONWIDE. . .new line cinema gets huge props from  me. . .and not only for LOTR now. . .of course, john cho was glowing tonite and he was so polite to give me a hug hello. . he is SO going to be hella famous now. . .wow, now i can sell that signed 8x10 he marked up for me when i was development director at east west players. . .lol. . .
